Driveway cleaning · the Hammock

Driveway cleaning in the Hammock.

The oceanfront and Intracoastal homes along the Hammock take more salt air and humidity than any roof inland, which is exactly why they streak and grow algae faster. High pressure is the right tool for concrete and pavers, and we use it where it belongs to bring your driveway and walkways back to like-new.

The right tool for hard surfaces

Concrete, pavers, and brick can take the force of pressure washing, and it is the fast, effective way to lift embedded dirt, algae, and buildup from flatwork. We use surface cleaners for an even, stripe-free finish.

Why driveways in the Hammock go green and gray

In the A1A coastal communities of Hammock Dunes, Ocean Hammock, and Hammock Beach, shade and humidity grow a slick layer of algae on concrete, and years of traffic grind in dirt. A proper clean restores the original color and takes the slip hazard off your walkways.

How it works

  1. Pre-treat the surface

We pre-treat algae and stains so they lift cleanly instead of leaving shadows.

  2. Surface-clean for an even finish

A surface cleaner washes the flatwork evenly, with no wand stripes, and we detail the edges by hand.

  3. Rinse and optional CitraShield

We rinse everything down. If you want the clean to last, we can finish with an optional CitraShield treatment, a citrus-based protective coating that slows how fast algae and mildew come back.

Common questions.

Will pressure washing damage my pavers?

Done right, no. We use the correct pressure and surface cleaners for an even result, and we can re-sand them and add an optional CitraShield coating afterward to protect them.

Can you get rid of the green algae?

Yes. We pre-treat the algae so it is killed and lifted, not just rinsed, which keeps it from coming back as quickly.

Can you make the clean last longer?

Yes. After cleaning we can apply an optional CitraShield treatment, a citrus-based protective coating that slows how quickly algae and mildew return, so your driveway stays clean longer between washes.

How often should concrete be cleaned in the Hammock?

With Florida humidity, most driveways here do well on a yearly clean to stay ahead of the algae and keep walkways safe.
